Book Online Therapy — Start With a Free Introductory Call

You don't need to know exactly what to say, or be sure therapy is for you. Send me a short message and I'll get back to you to arrange a free introductory call: a chance to ask me anything and see whether working together feels right. There's nothing to pay and nothing to decide yet.

  • Free introductory call
  • £80 a session after that
  • 50 minutes on Zoom
  • Private and confidential

Get in touch

The first step is the hardest. It's also the shortest.

Send me a message and I'll reply personally to arrange your free introductory call. Prefer to talk? Message me on WhatsApp or give me a ring.

Pick a time that suits you in my online diary, or send me a message with the form.

Fields marked with an asterisk are needed so I can reply.

If you'd rather I called or texted.

For example “weekday evenings”.

I'd like to

A line or two is plenty. Keep anything personal for the call.

Sent over an encrypted connection straight to me. Nothing is shared or sold. Please don't use this form in an emergency: see the numbers at the bottom of the page.

What happens next

Three steps. No pressure at any of them.

  1. Step 1: Book a time, or I reply to you myself

Pick a slot in my online diary, or send me a message. No receptionist: I read every message personally and reply to arrange a time that suits you for a short introductory call.

  2. Step 2: We have a free introductory call

A short, no-obligation call. You tell me a little about what's going on, I tell you how I work, and we both get a feel for whether it's a fit. If it isn't, I'll point you somewhere better.

  3. Step 3: If it feels right, we book a session

Sessions are 50 minutes on Zoom and cost £80. You'll get a private link before each one, and you pay by bank transfer afterwards. You can stop whenever you choose.

Your privacy

Is this form secure and private?

Yes. The form is sent over an encrypted connection and goes straight to my inbox. It isn't stored on the website, it isn't shared with anyone, and nobody but me reads it. I only use your details to reply to you.

You don't need to tell me anything personal to get started. A name, an email address and “I'd like to talk” is enough. We can go into the rest on the introductory call, at your pace.

The first step

What should I say in my message?

As much or as little as you like. Some people write a paragraph; most write a line. If it helps, you could mention roughly what's brought you here, and when you're usually free to talk. If you'd rather speak than write, message me on WhatsApp (opens WhatsApp) or call me on +44 7957 343528.

If you're wondering what the sessions themselves cost, everything is on my therapy fees page, and there are more answers on my online therapy questions page.

If it can't wait

What if I need help right now?

Please don't wait for a reply from me. I'm not an emergency service, and I may not see your message straight away. If you're in immediate danger, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. For urgent mental health help, call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option. To talk to someone now, Samaritans are there day and night on 116 123.

When things feel steadier, I'll still be here, and we can talk about whether regular sessions would help.
